Protein Powders for extra protein?

OK, so I am constantly worried about not getting enough Protein. I am on day 13 of my post op and feel pretty good but I know I am not taking in enough protein. I found this on amazon and was wondering if any one knew anything about it?

BulkSupplements CLEAN whey Protein powder Isolate 90% (500 grams) by BulkSupplements

Its just an unflavored whey protein that doesn't have anything of the junk the other ones have in it.

Need advise.

Does your doc not have you on protein shakes? Mine gave me a list of things that were approved for my recovery. I did great for the first 3 weeks .... >.>

I still supplement with whey protein shakes.

yes but one a day. I am usually taking in about 40 grams a day. 30 of it is my shake. But everything I read says I should have 60 to 90.. That's why I am wondering if the extra powder would hurt anything?

Walgreens sells these two gulp protein shots 30grams. Highly recommend them.

Hmmm..I'm gonna check that out also..

Kpurdy the protein is really important .

Protein was important before you were banded and will always be important. It helps in healing, clotting, building and maintaining muscle, and will help you stay fuller longer in your journey. You will muscle waste as you diet and need the protein to help ward this off.
