Nothing really tastes good anymore...

It's the strangest thing....food doesn't really taste good any more and the thought of some meats make me gag. Like ground beef; I was a fan before sleeve but now it turns my stomach. Honestly, almost all food does. I don't actually get sick but the thought of eating is pretty unappealing.

I'm rarely hungry.

Anyone else experience this feeling? Maybe it's stomach acid?

How far along are you? The first food I really enjoyed was when I was cleared for normal foods and made a chopped salad.

I think it takes a while to get back into eating after being on all the liquids and protein shakes. But it is important to have food that tastes good. So start slow try things you liked before you may just have to alter the seasonings for taste?

I'm almost 2 months post op. When I first started back on solids, food tastes great. Now? Eh. Nothing "sounds" good and not much tastes good ether. Fresh fruit and veg are still my favorites but every thing else -meat, cheese, fish, cottage cheese, etc,- turns my stomach. It's just the oddest thing.
