I ate SO much today. TOO much. I kept eating after I was full. I snacked when I wasn't hungry. I ate more at lunch then I usually do. I'm stressed (work) and sad (sudden death of a family friend yesterday) and bored (training). I know these emotions are what caused this episode of overeating. I knew when I was eating that it was emotional. But I couldn't stop. And now I'm miserable. My stomach hurts. And I'm worried that I've stretched my stomach out and I'm going to gain weight back. Only 6 weeks after surgery, and I've already messed up! I feel guilty. (Clearly I have food issues. LOL!) I HATE food. And I HATE how much I love food.

6 weeks after surgery, messed up! feel guilty.

@@GentryGirl

its a new day :)

what is done is done

you can't change the past about your recent eating mistakes

"Maybe" it helps you to remember what you did so you won't do it again????

right after surgery i was on Clear liquids for 2 weeks, then full liquids, then pureed & finally soft

EVENTUALLY made it to solids, but everything was at a slow pace

we all need to give our poor tummy a chance to heal

six weeks, already eating regularly???

i have heard of a couple of NUTS allowing people to eat at a quicker rate,

You made the wise decision to have the sleeve

you are obviously a smart "cookie" ;)

You have been given a wonderful "helper" (the sleeve) that will assist you in losing weight :)

"you work with the sleeve, and the sleeve will work with you" :)

eating too much, too fast etc. - not good!! :)

Knock it off!!! LOL

"weigh" ;) the reasons you had the sleeve to begin with

better health, happiness etc

before you put that piece of food in your mouth, think of all you want to achieve

don't just eat whenever you want to, and overeat

follow all the rules :)

Water et al especially :)

when you are eating soft/solid foods never drink for 45-60 minutes after you ate :)

"we" all have confidence in you :)

come on girl :)

good luck :)

kathy

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
