5 days post op

And I feel great!!! Just minor soreness at this point, mostly from the incision on the right where they removed the portion if the stomach from. I'm doing well getting in my fluids and trying my best with the Protein. I'm tired of shakes...but luckily only have one more week on them! :). I've been walking a lot and am venturing to my best friends house for a visit today. I'm down 16 lbs, including what I lost on the pre op diet, so I'm pretty darn happy!!!

Good for you! I'm 4 days out and doing well also! I keep fearing that the discomfort after eating is my stomach stretching back to big because I'm over eating but I'm only eating a few bites so I know I'm just being crazy .

I am 3 days out and keep getting pains in my stomach no matter what goes into it. Protien shake, Water or puree food. I was worried that i was doing something wrong. I feel better knowing that it is normal. I guess it is just the stomach healing from the surgery.

Am i safe in saying this???

I feel the same way about the potential stretching! My Surgeon told me not to have more than 4 oz of fluid in a 30 minute period! I'm lucky if I can get down 2 1/2!

By the way, I am 5 days out!! I am feeling well!

I am having a TERRIBLE time w the medical tape, ripping my skin and burning me. It's awful!

Keep up all the great work!

I'm about 12 days post-surgery and it's kind of miserable so far! I am sick of soup and not drinking enough water however hard I try. I also have a hard egg-sized growth under one of my surgical scars, anybody have any idea if that's anything to worry about?
