Last day at work until 4 weeks post op :)

Today is my last day at work until after surgery. My sleeve is on Monday morning :) I am so excited. I've made it to day 5 of my preop diet, and have not cheated even once. I'm already down 10 lbs!! I am so excited to finally be having my surgery, and am so looking forward to my new life!! I work as a nurse in an OB/gyn office, and will be out for four weeks, returning on August 25th. I really hope recovery goes well, and I'll get to enjoy some of this time off like vacation, lol!

Congrats! Keep us posted as to how you're doing. We pre-op patients will be rooting for you :)

Awsome, I know the feeling all too well... I was sleeved on Monday May 5th so a Friday like this one back on May 2nd was my last Friday too... enjoy the time off, heal well, you'll feel pretty good 4 days out, and great almost like your old self 7 days out. Make sure you walk walk walk -- it's the only thing that really helps the gas and bloating discomfort. You'll be sooo happy after it's done. I have not had one complication, I'm almost 3 months out, 45 lbs down and feel TERRIFIC!! Enjoying the new me, down 3 dress sizes and lotsss of energy... love love love it! Good luck, keep us posted.
