I've had surgery for prolapse with a & p repair. Will having the sleeve surgery and losing all the weight affect this?

I haven't seen a doctor yet. I go to my first seminar next week. I hadn't even thought about weight lost affecting my repair until my husband said something. Even if it does affect it I still want the sleeve surgery done to help me lose weight. I can have that fixed again later on

Prolapse - the internal organs have lost structure. Usually bladder, uterus etc falling into vagina

A = anterior

P = posterior

So she had a prolapse with anterior and posterior repair. Basically rebuild of the pelvic structure.

So based on that. I would it didn't affect you since it's a nj teensy organ repair but definitely something to ask BOTH your surgeons to comment on.

Yet another person has a better memory than I do. My Mom used to lick them and stick them into booklets!

hate it when the CRS kicks in! lol My Mom used to get those sheets of stickers too.

We had a S&H...and my aunt had an A&P (we'd go there when visiting). Both long gone from 'round here.

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
