how do I know if I have a leak or not?

I had my sleeve on July 4. I read that two symptoms of a leak are racing heart and shoulder pain. I have both. Help!

talk to your doctor and give him all your symptoms. Leaks are very rare so chances are you are oK - you may have delayed gas - try walking. do you have any heart issues you know of?

the main symptom of leak is generally stabbing gut pain. like bent over, also fever and sweating.

you can ALWAYS call the nurse at your surgeon's office and run it by them. their knowledge is invaluable!

My dr told me during my 1week follow up that my pulse was up. He said I was dehydrated.

I would agree the other pain may still be gas.

Of course call the dr or nurse, but drink drink drink and walk walk walk.

You don't want to be in the er getting iv fluids.
