Concerns after fill

I have had my band since 2009 and never had fill until two days ago. Only 2 cc was put in now my stomach feels just like I've been hit in the gut. Is this normal?

I have found that once you have a fill, you have to learn how to use your band again. I recently had an adjustment that I recognized was too tight after about 2 weeks. I was having several stuck episodes a day and hiccupped all the time. I did have 0.5 cc removed and have been good to go since. Give yourself about a week and keep a good food journal for yourself. Make notes when you have an issue with a particular food and steer clear of that item. I hardly noticed a difference for myself until my band was around 5cc (in a 10cc band). Be patient and listen to your band. Wishing you all the best.

Could not agree more...but one must be willing to accept change...if not, they will always be struggling (fighting) the band, and may go and get fluid taken out rather than accept an alternate, new way of life.....

Granted, we lived our entire lives eating the wrong foods the wrong way, and it can be hard to let go and change within 6 months.... but IMO that's what it is all about....
