Anyone else use these to help with support post surgery? I know in some Latin American countries it is part of any abdominal surgical work, but curious if anyone here tried it?

I think that may be more common in open surgeries where muscles are cut... I didn't feel the need for anything like that

I had laparoscopic RNY, 5 small incisions, I didn't wear any support and they never told me to wear any or use anything for it and I healed nicely! Now that I just got plastic surgery, a tummy tuck, brachioplasty, breast lift and augmentation, I have to wear a binder on my tummy, compression sleeve garments on my arms and a surgical bra... I will be wearing them for a few months! You should be fine not wearing anything, but if in doubt always ask your surgeon or one of his nurses! Good luck !

You know, I did it anyway just because I felt like I was all out of sorts in my abdominal area, and it helped me feel better. Maybe mental, but I was moving easier.
