Post op from july 1

I am freshly a post op and excited to have stumbled upon this app. My mother and I both had the sleeve done together on July 1. It has been a ride since. I know week 1 is the worst and I'm feeling it. Any advice???

My motto is: protect and respect the pouch. My doctor has set out a very specific diet and I have followed it to the letter. I figured if I was going to do something this extreme why would I not follow his advice. Also stay hydrated! One of the biggest reasons for re-admission is dehydration so keep drinking and take Water with you if you go out (I learned the hard way...)

The first week is the hardest but just be easy on yourself - your body will let you know when you are ready for more activity.

So nice you and your mom did this together! I wish you both great success and look forward to hearing about your progress :)
