Countdown to Onederland!

Hey everyone! I am approaching ONEDERLAND (199) on the scale! My one year bandaversary is coming up on May 26th and I WANT TO BE IN ONEDERLAND!!!

I thought I would start this thread for those of us who are nearing this wonderful milestone!

I know I haven't been in Onederland since elementary school ! How sad is that?:omg:

This is a thread for supprt, for cheering and a little butt-kicking (if needed). Anyone who would like to post on here, please do so, we need all the support we can get! You can be 5 pounds away or 50 pounds away... it doesn't matter! I'll be checking in at least once a week to update you guys on my current weight. I know that their are bunches of us out there trying to reach this milestone.. so come on guys, lets cheer each other into Onederland!

My weight today is 207! :clap2: I know I can do this, but I have got to kick the chocolate habit!:faint:

Come on peeps, drink that Water and get to moving! We've come soooo far!

Karen...you did it, you did it, you did it...

Someone please rescue me...I have been hovering at 202 for 3 weeks. Over Christmas I changed the eating plan to protein, vegg, sweets, but hey, a small lapse. I have been on track for over a week and nothing. I was very inspired by TracyinKS's picture of the scale reading 199.4. I take my camera to the scale with me every morning. I even have yellow post-it-notes with numbers on them on my bathroom mirror. I have to look around them to fix my hair. I have all the numbers ready, I wonder when I will be able to change them!

And I heard the heavenly chorus this morning when I stepped on the scale. I finally reached Onederland today! Yay! I didn't take the camera because I was afraid it would add ounces, or something. LOL I was 199 even.

Steph:

Congratulations! Such a great accomplishment. I'll be joining you in Onederland in April.

Good job!

Sue

Good one Steph... you've gone past me now... boy do I need that fill.

You are SOOOOO close!!! You'll be here before you know it!!

Thanks! I look forward to seeing you here!

Not too long to go now before my next fill. I know I still may be able to eat after that one but it's got to be better than what's happening now... I can eat heaps more than I was while restricted and I know there are many people on here who would say to use more willpower but it's easier said than done. I definitely am trying to control it and definitely making sure I exercise most days so I don't put any weight on but I want the band at a point where it is doing the job it should be. Right now it feels like I never even had the op.

You won't hear that from me! Willpower only goes so far when you're fighting your own body -- and that's part of the battle. Someone once said it's like trying to use willpower to survive on two hours sleeps every night. Sure, you could do it for awhile but eventually your body is going to say, "Forget this! You need to sleep!"

You guys are doing GREAT! I also have reached onederland and feel like my first obstacle is hurdled. I was hung up at 201.5 for a whole week, but after my fill I went to 198.5. Feels great to be here with you and I hope I stay.

Congratulations Julia, it's a nice feeling when you get there.

Thanks for your words of wisdom Longhorn. I'm very happy with what I've achieved so far, just expected to be at least another 10 lbs down by now. At least I still have a month left to lose it for the next challenge! ;)

  • 2 weeks later...
I am getting closer! I have 6lbs to go. I am hoping to be in Onderland by the end of the month.

I have just over six to go to dip to 199 point something. I doubt I'll make it before the end of the month but I'm hopeful I'll make it by Valentine's Day.
