OW NO, CHEATED ON PRE SURGERY DIET!

I'm sooooooo hungry!!! Today was the first day of my pre op liquid diet and I totally cheated, I ate some bread. Tomorrow is the second day and I'm only to have Clear liquids and then Monday morning is my surgery!!

I hope I didn't cause myself any major problems, I'm just so hungry even though I'm drinking lots of Water and I had my liquid meals. All of my usual cravings are kicking my butt right now.

Did anyone else slip on their pre surgery liquid diet? Did it cause any problems at surgery?

Will I be starving like this after my surgery?

You should be fine with just the one little slip up. Don't be too hard on yourself and just keep moving on. Try to remind yourself of why you are doing this. Being hungry is not the worst thing in the world and it will pass :)

Good luck with your surgery!
