Compression usage?

What type of compression are recommended post-surgery? Did anyone begin wearing it immediately (after surgery) or after the bandages fell off? Did it make sense to purchase at a size immediately following the surgery or did you purchase a few in varying sizes? Please share any links of wear you purchased good quality compression. Also, anyone see results in wearing them or is the excess skin inevitable? Any advice would be helpful.

I never wore one. I didn't even know about these compression bandages until I saw it on BariatricPal. If your doctor is the one recommending the use of these bandages he/she should know what size. If your doctor hasn't recommended the use of these bandages I don't think I would even worry about it. I have seen others post that they used them & had issues. It will interesting to see what others post on here. Good luck with your sleeve.
