Dr. Choices in Mexico

I am looking into having sleeve surgery in Mexico, but I need help with a doctor. I have read up on Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta, but I see a lot of people have gone to Tijuana. Is it safe there? I have looked at A Lighter Me--Dr. Ortiz and Baja Bariatrics with Dr. Iilya. Any feedback for me????

Yes!! I live in Tj, there are many great doctors here. U have to feel comfortable with your doctor. I would suggest making an appointment and check it out for yourself. My nephew is a great surgeon in Mexicali (about 2 hrs driving from Tijuana, border with Calexico), so Im having my surgery with him in Mexicali (Dr. Marco Sarinana) but he told me that if I decided to have surgery in Tijuana the best doctors he recommends are Dr. López Corvalla or Dr. Covarrubias. ???? good luck and shop around.
