I am having a hard time committing to the surgery--going to Mexico, cutting my stomach, not enjoying food and adult beverages (social aspect). Very nervous.

who are you seeing in Mexico? I have about the same to loose, but I don't know anything about plication. I was going to do sleeve CandyPants81, I chose the Plication because the patient coordinator said that would probably be the best choice since I just needed to lose 50 lbs. the trouble I always have is keeping it off and now I have just been diagnosed with Diebetes. Like I said both sisters have bands and I'm not impressed with the outcome. I was going to do the sleeve till I talked to the coordinator. I did some reading and it seemed less invasive so I just chose that one. I'm actually still a bit on the fence about it.

who are you using?

I am looking into having sleeve surgery in Mexico, but I need help with a doctor. I have read up on Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta, but I see a lot of people have gone to Tijuana. Is it safe there? I have looked at A Lighter Me--Dr. Ortiz and Baja Bariatrics with Dr. Iilya. Any feedback for me????
