Guys, I am a skeptic, but I decided to try to get my pre op and post op Protein shakes and Vitamins covered by my insurance through insurenutrition.com and guess what??? I was approved and received my first shipment today!

4 cases of 18 premier Protein Shakes and a month's supply of liquid vitamins!!!

No copay, no shipping & handling! Freeeeeee

They will continue to deliver once a month during my prescription period. (Must renew with your surgeon every 7 months!) :)

AWESOME!! I am still witing for the call..

I need your insurance. LOL

Lori did you hear anything?

No nothing yet I am gonna call them on Monday if I don't hear anything by then..

I submitted my request about 10 days ago and they called on Tuesday to let me know that my insurance approved the Protein drinks and liquid Vitamins. I didn't request approval for the scar cream. I think she said they were sending 3 cases via FedEx, so I should get them today or Monday. I am not sure about the liquid vitamins.... as I couldn't find anything on their website about it.

Has anyone with Kaiser tried this? If so, was it approved or rejected?

Has anyone had success with this lately? I submitted but have not heard back in a while.

I sent my stuff and they called me to make sure the dr sent in the prescription. They did but haven't heard anything else.

I have a tracking # for my liquid vitamins and protein shakes. They are supposed to arrive later on this week. I will keep you all posted.

My dr today said the shakes are not in line with his program so they will not write the scripts. He also said the scar cream is a scam.

For myself I will be using Vitamin 'E' for the scars.. it has always worked for me.. as far as the shakes go, If my insurance co. will pay for them I will use them

Yes hon I did leave that blank. I also do NOT have a date yet

where do you live in Cali?

I live in Midway City, (between Huntington Beach & Westminster)
