  7. My packet was submitted dec1 2014. My approval letter was mailed Dec 2....HNJH.
  8. Wish I had this info last summer! Mine was $130.00 which wasn't awful..free is better.

  10. I too lost my husband when I was 39 and there are times I want to just dive into my old comfort foods. There are plans for my life that had to be rewritten and that pisses me off. But...that said...this is when you have to dig deep and do it for you. Write your own story with a happy ending. God knows its hard....but you are worth fighting for. I know I am.
  11. Well lets just say the stool softeners worked!! Id say 90% pain free!!! I'm hopeful!
  12. Im 23 days out. I went to my pcp today about this pain and she ordered an ultrasound to rule out hernia. She also said it could be I'm full of crap.....literally lol. So I'm taking stool softeners and upping water intake. I'm hopeful this brings an end to this pain so I can move forward!!!

  14. My surgery was Dec 15. All my incisions healed beautifully but I have pain on my left lower side. Looking at an anatomy chart my pain is a ligament that is in the lower abdoman. Is that where yours is? I purchased a belly band like those used for pregnancies and it really helped. I'm hoping eventually it works itself out. Ill be asking the surgeon next week.
  15. I'm. Three weeks out today...scale isn't moving. Is it the dreaded three week stall? I'm struggling getting in the protein and water requirements. I'm walking thru the ligament pain...I am 1 pound away from losing that horrible 3 in my weight....it just....won't .....move!!! Any advice welcome!
  16. My daughter bought me this ring to replace my wedding ring. Its my late husband's birthstone. Last time I wore it was about 2006. It fits!!
  17. I just started soft foods/ pureed. What do you consider slow losing?
  18. The pain isn't near my pouch. Its lower, probably just part of the healing. I need to be patient

  20. I'm 16 days postop. Surgery in Dec not October
  21. I had surgery Dec 15. Had some pain first week in lower belly and itresolved with a belly band. Now I have developed a pain on my left side...more inner pain. I can lay down pain free but sitting is painful and walking as well. Any suggestions?
