  1. That's great advice. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Oh ya I'm nine days out...
  3. The hardest thing for me is that I'm Vegan I'm hopeful I can find lots of good alternatives. I just bought 2 books from the UK on how to eat from surgery on. I also found a awesome Bariatric Dr in Houston that is vegan. He also has lots of great information...
  4. Wow I'm on day 9 and I feel great but I've felt wonderful since day 5 I wonder why some of you still feel bad.
  5. I know many people do have success but it's a huge risk! My Dr told me he has treated many patients who have had problems after they had surgery over there. I would fight my insurance there's no reason they shouldn't cover it for him. His weight alone is a huge risk factor. Oh ya I'm from San Diego and my Dr is in La Jolla that's why he's seen more than his share of TJ's surgery nightmares!
  6. I bet my Drs office could get it covered! I had Blue Cross Blue Sheild out of Az I had my surgery done in Ca and they covered it I only had a 36 BMI all my blood work was perfect but diabetes runs in my family and they got mine covered no problem. The Dr is Awesome I was home in 2 days and I feel amazing....
  7. That's crazy what insurance do u have and where do u live? Do u have a lot of disease in our family?
  8. Don't be scared???? I have never had surgery before and after it was over I'd do it again and again it was so darn easy. The gas is the only hard part lol. Oh and the pain drugs where awesome I had Dilaudid with anti-nauseous and it didn't make me sick or feel to weird. It really took the pain away. Good luck it's a breeze????????
  9. Why wouldn't u just go to a Dr in the USA? I'm sorry but I'd never have anything done in Mexico. But I do here that there are some great Drs in TJ. Don't you have insurance it would be totally covered mine was.
