4 years ago I was desperate for a change. I went to my doctor to discuss The Lap-Band surgery. I got the surgery in January of 2010 and weighed 340 lbs at the time of the surgery. I lost over 100 lbs on the Lap-Band within one years time.I managed to keep the weight off for a while then it slowly crept back on.
I was finally at a point where the band began to give more so many problems and I had to have it removed. By the time I had it removed I already had gained 60-65 lbs back. When I had it removed I knew that I had to go ahead and inquire about the sleeve because I felt all of my same bad habits falling back into place.. Overeating, always hungry, eating bad foods, drinking when I eat.. etc....
Now, I got the sleeve done This past Thursday, June 19th and have so many mixed emotions about it already. I feel sadness, anger towards myself, and disappointment... Im not sure why I feel all of these things. I just pray that my life can get back to normal asap..
I feel so tired and drained all day long....
