I finished my last class on Friday, and I now have a tentative surgery date of July 28!! Only 5 weeks away. The past 6 months have flown by, and I can't believe I finally have my date! We're just waiting on approval from insurance now, but that's in Gods hands, and being as though I met their requirements, I'm not too worried. The reality of it all is really sinking in, but I am so ready and excited to start this next chapter of my life!!!

when did you submit to insurance? I know they say it could take up to 4 weeks, but I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones that gets a response faster. Just for peace of mind.

I think that my packet was submitted last week. I have Cigna and the insurance specialist at my surgeon's office said that they were taking about 5-10 days for approval. Planning on calling Monday morning just to make sure that it WAS submitted.
