2 months post op

My fiance is 2 months post op and cannot eat more than a couple spoonfuls of soup or food without a burning sensation in his stomach. He denies it's GERD. He doesn't want to eat anymore because it makes him feel so terrible :( Please advise

Thank you! I agreed. He's called the dr and been to post-op appts and is told to "keep on keeping on" but is beyond frustrated. He takes Omeprazole twice a day which has really helped with the GERD - he was spitting up acid before that. He has a 3 month post-op appt in a couple more weeks. Anyone else experiencing this?

I was having this issue and found to much spice was causing it. Before surgery we loved spicy food in our house so we still used it to cook. Now I don't use it or have onions and my stomach acid went away.
