Need Help with protein shake.

I am not getting the band till Aug 9th but I am trying to stock up on all the stuff I will need before hand. The only thing I am having a hard time it the is the protein shake. I have been trying this one called Isopure and I can't drink it because of the really bad taste:eek: I would like to know what you guys have been doing and witch ones are the best overall and the best with the taste. Thank you.

I went to the Vitalady in Puyallup, WA and tried a bunch of different kinds. If you are in Washington I would recommend that. Or you can go to their website and purchase different samples. I really liked Champion Whey the best. The chocolate was great. I found that only adding 4-5 ounces of water made it taste the best. Sometimes I will add some coffee or SF flavors to change things up.

Has anyone tried the Special K Protein Powder that you just add to water? I saw it in Walgreen's and the clerk said that it was tasty. But I am just not sure...

Okay, I will be banded on Wednesday (yeah!) and there just seems to be WAY too many options as far as the protein drinks. What are the parameters as far as protein/carb/calories that you are supposed to strive for? My dr gave me samples of Isopure (YUK) and unjury (less bad) and nectar (kinda like drinking jell-o). But I haven't bought a supply of anything yet. Guess I better get shopping!
