Any advise for preparing for surgery or right after surgery. What should I do or prepare now to make week after surgery easier?

Mine is june 14th,i got unjury protein chicken soup,unflavoured protein,several packs of single serve shake not much of anything specific because everyone said taste buds will change. I also got gas-x strips to help with the gas pain. I hope i helped.
