Around a couple of my incisions, the skin is numb. I know because the incisions are now itchy and I just itch around them. Is the numbness normal?

I don't know if its normal but it happen to me...my stomach under the incision where they took my stomach out was numb for almost 2 weeks, one day I noticed it wasn't numb any more. When I went to my 2week check up my dr said my incisions had healed perfectly and they removed my stiches and that I was ok. He told me to be concerned if I had fever, my incisions bruised or oozed.

YOu may want to contact your dr and just let them know and see what he/she says

Itchiness without any redness or swelling is very normal... I've always heard that it's a sign that the skin is healing.

Maybe the numbness will go away once they're fully healed...

Mine was too. Here I am 2 weeks later and most of the sensation is back
