First post op follow up visit

I had my first follow up visit today. 2 weeks post op. I have to say I was a little disappointed in my visit. was there maybe 10 minutes. Dr just asked me how I was feeling and told me I could do anything I wanted now as far as activity. I had several questions about hunger and food, but that was kinda blown off. I actually had to ask him to look at my surgery site to make sure all was well. I did have a pretty big hematoma and was concerned about it. I felt like I drove over 2 hours to see him so the least he could do was check out the surgery site!! so I am thankful I have found this website, a lot of my questions have been answered on here. so thanks everyone!!!

My dr is the same way. Always in a hurry with everything. That is why we all have each other here!

Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm. My doc is great but he's no Chatty Cathy and it's obvious he needs to be somewhere else real quick.
