RNY

I had gastric bypass surgery 5/23/14. I was discharged 5/25/14. I had surgery at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. My surgeon was Dr. Roberts. I had been considering WLS for a couple of years and finally started my journey 8/19/13. I had WLS to become healthier. And to be arou d for my childrem and grand children.

Today has been a difficult day. I have felt exhausted most of the day. I have had diarrhea and nausea. I went back to a clear liquid diet and have taken a couple of naps. I do feel a little better.

I joined this group for support and tips along with giving others support on this weight loss roller coaster.

Welcome and CONGRATS on your new life!!! I join this group a few days ago and I'm already in love with all my supporters. You're freshly out of surgery, so you will be tired for a few days. Your tiredness, pain, and soreness will get better. I am almost 11 days out and I'm back at the gym and running errands. Again, congratulations on your new healthy life!!!

I feel your pain, I had my surgery on 5/21/14 and I can't meet my daily protein goals because the drinks make me sick to my stomach. There's very little food I can eat at this point so it's all I can do to keep myself together. We just have to be patient and let healing happen. Good luck and talk to you soon!

I'm sorry you guys are struggling but I'm glad you found this board. I'm preop but I'm learning so much about what to expect and how to be successful with the surgery. I'm sure you'll all be doing so much better in a week or two. Be sure to come back to the topic and let us know how you're doing so someone following behind you can learn from your experiences.

Best wishes
