Neck pain

Hy does my neck hurt so very bad. It started a few hours after I ate. I remember hearing something about neck pain but I can't recall exactly what was said.

Sometimes the vagus nerve can be damaged or if there's some extra pressure on the nerve you can get a pain on the left side of your neck and shoulder.

For me, if I eat too much or enjoy something carbonated my left shoulder / neck area will hurt. With the lap band it may push on that nerve that may trigger some pain. If it's more in your neck area it might be something different. What else have you done recently - picked up something, turned your head too fast, slept wrong?

Whenever my neck hurts I walk for a bit to relieve some of the built up gas in my stomach or toss a heat pack on it and it feels so much better!
