Introduction.

Just wanted to say hi.

I was banded on April 10, 2007 by Dr. Alexander Abkin @ St.Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ.

I'm 35, married mother of 2. Got tired of my 206 lb and all that came with it. Some of my co-workers had bypasses, some had bands. I decided on band, since it's not that invasive (and if it's not working, I can always go for bypass). Now I'm not that sure...

I'm in a lot of pain (I expected some, but not that much) from port site. I have troubles swallowing ( even water). But I hope it will pass soon. What's done is done.

Can't wait to get my hands on real food in about ....few months ...:) (Just joking)...
