Any nursing assistants who've had surgery

I'm a CNA working in a hospital I wanted to knw how long did anybody else stay out after surgery?!???!

I haven't had surgery yet I have a tentative date June 23rd.

Ughh no don't say that...that just hurt my feelings...I was looking into fmla but that hurt my feelings too...you don't get paid for being out or do u...my supervisor is kind of tough about giving the time off for this type of surgery she says it's cosmetic...that's what she told a coworker....so I don't knw what to do

This surgery is not cosmetic.. That's quite ridiculous. I'm a "technical partner" at a local hospital. I do patient care, vitals, phlebotomy, ekg's.. The list is long. But anyways, I'm banking 3 weeks at the most. I know there's going to be lift restrictions like there was when I had my gall bladder out last July. I was out 2.5 weeks for that. I also have a nurse and unit clerk that had the sleeve and I believe they were out around 3 weeks.
