Surgery is tomorrow!

Well in less than 24 hrs I will be in surgery. Today I'm doing my clear liquid diet and the bowel prep! Lovely! But soon it will be a distant memory. I seriously can't wait to have some soup haha. I have been living on balance bars for months so I am going to welcome soup and mushy food. It's more options than I have given myself in the past few months. Once I am out of surgery and in my room tomorrow I am going to update everyone on how I feel a play by play of the experience so maybe it will help others who are waiting for their big day.

Good luck! Once I was in my room, I was "out of it". Having a conversation was too tiring. I couldn't imagine using the computer that whole week. But I hope you do update us all--I'm sure it will be helpful for all pre-ops!

Best of luck!

I was just at my PCP office today and I have been referred for a Gastric Sleeve surgical consultation. I am a single mom and I am scared, but, I know that God is with me and is going to take care of me.... I am excited to see the journey that I am embarking upon because I have always had a weight problem. I will let you know how it goes...

This prep day is draining mentally and physically from lack of food but I'm going to bed soon so I can sleep through the pain haha. Just can't wait for it to be over and feeling better.

Good luck tomorrow!!
