May 7th I have my final appointment with the surgeon to go over any new concerns and/or questions that I may have and then I get to schedule my surgery!!! So excited and nervous at the same time..hoping to get it scheduled before summer semester starts..keeping my fingers crossed...only have to do clear liquids and a light dinner the night before surgery along with Dulcolax...wish me luck!

Me too! I just got my insurance approval letter in the mail today. I am going to call my surgeon's office on Monday to see if I can get a surgery date now!

Mine is scheduled for May 15th. I am soooo hungry. Started VSG diet. Ordered Unjury protein shakes. They taste pretty good. I am starting to get excited.

Congrats ladies !!! I just received my approval today too ! I'm soo excited I can't wait to schedule my surgery already ! We're coming into a new chapter of our lives ladies I'm very excited for all of you !

I also just received my insurance approval! Now on to the final steps of pre-op. Kind of bittersweet because I planned to do this with my daughter but she had a glitch in meeting all the required steps for her insurance approval so she is delayed by a month or so before she can submit her final paperwork and request for WLS to the insurance company. I will proceed with my surgery and put positive vibes out there in the universe that she will be approved soon and following close behind me.
