Sipping on water

Today I took two sips of Water in a row (didn't mean to) and I felt like I was DYING! I almost threw up and couldn't breathe well.

I know we need to take a break after each sip, but is this going to be a forever thing? So used to chugging water :/

  • Its only been a week for me. But the first two days .,it was so hard to not gulp. Or take a swig.,,we will learn because the pain right between the girls tells me now SLOW down. lol

  • I'm a week post-op and I still have to sip. I can do about an ounce every 12 minutes or so. But that's more than I could do yesterday which was more than the day before, and on and on.

Im 2 weeks postop, the first week was the hardest and now I can drink water normal. I can take a couple sips at a time and drink a whole 16oz bottle within 30-45 mins. It will get easier. Good Luck on your journey!
