  1.    Lindsay_W89 reacted to a post in a topic: problem with drinking water?
  2. I put lemon in my water and that helps a lot. I thought I was only one who couldn't drink water!
  3. I'm on the purée stage right now. Some days I can eat just fine and some days I can barely eat two bites and I get a pain in my chest. Anyone else having this problem? It sucks not knowing if you are going to have a good eating day or bad one...
  4. Just wanted to know if gluten free or rice made any difference. Thanks for the replies!
  5. I'm not on this stage yet, but can we have things like rice noodles or gluten free Pasta to replace regular noodles? And what about rice and gluten free crackers? Thanks!
  6. I haven't gotten to that stage yet, but my doctor said I purée food for the second stage. I would put the shrimp in a blender to mice it. Just an idea
  7. I'm 2 weeks post op and have to do liquids for one more week (thank god!). But I'm still kind of hungry after soup or 8oz of protein drink. Anyone else feel the same way? Hopefully I will be full when I start the purée stage
  8. Today I took two sips of Water in a row (didn't mean to) and I felt like I was DYING! I almost threw up and couldn't breathe well. I know we need to take a break after each sip, but is this going to be a forever thing? So used to chugging water :/
  9. I eat three times a day but only eat when I'm hungry. Don't want to force myself to eat when I'm not hungry.
  10. I saw my doctor and I have to do the liquid diet for 2 more weeks just got to keep my head up. Two weeks is not too long...
  11. Anyone else missing food? I had surgery on the 22nd and still on the liquid diet. I know this stage is not forever but it feels like it. I know one day I will be able to eat "regular" food, but it doesn't seem real. Anyone else having this problem?
  12. I'm having the same problem too. I haven't gone in 6 days and I'm having a major stomach cramp. I took some MOM so I hope that works. Please send happy thoughts my way!
  13. I got the sleeve on the 22nd and I'm doing well with my liquid diet. Little at a time! Can i add a blended banana to my Protein Shake or even have a Jamba juice with Protein Powder? Just want to change up the flavors of my shakes Thank you!????
  14. Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better!
  15. I had my surgery on 4/22 and I'm scheduled to go back to work on the 30th. I work in retail, so I'm always on my feet. I have been eating fine and no nausea. My pain right now is tolerable. I'm just worried I won't be ok to go back to work. Anyone else in the same situation? Thank you!
