one week post op pain

Today I'm really feeling sore on my side and in my back. I was fairly active the past few days. Should I be concerned?

"No pain no gain" LOL, but seriously if the pain is bad call your surgeon. Is the pain in the area of the stomach? This early you really need to watch it to make sure there is not leaking of the stomach. You know your body best and you know if it is too bad for you. Listen to your body and talk to your surgeon whenever you want (or at least the surgeons office.)

I'm a week out today and had bad back pain yesterday-- and had been more active also. i got relief with a heating pad and Tylenol.
