Just found out that those excruciating pains I've been experiencing on my right side and the debilitating heartburn (what I thought was heartburn) is actually problems with my gallbladder. Anyone else have to have theirs removed as a result of surgery?

Is there anyone who never took medication for gallbladder post-surgery, and has also had no problems since?

Most like to give gb meds postop.

Had the gallbladder removed! Rough the first week but I'm back in the saddle. Things are much better! No problems otherwise, with exception of constipation. Will take that any day over the gallbladder pain.

I had my gall bladder removed when I was 18 due to complications with my birth control (Remeber YAZ?!) It caused me to have pancreatitis as well and omg I felt like I was having a heart attack, sharp pains in my chest that were so bad I actually passed out. The recovery for me was fairly easy and I was up and going out with out issue the day after.
