I am not cheating!

Does anyone else find themselves doing the cheat rationalization talk to themselves (i.e. it is only . . . ) when you are just having soup broth!??? I am 10 days out and adding a little soup broth and find myself doing the old dance. Is that neurotic or what!!!

Um why can't you have soup broth 10 days out? I was told I could have Soups (without chunks) 1 week after surgery. Even cream soups. I think it is our nature to rationalize.. I know I've done it on a few items of food for sure!

This is the devil's addiction voice. Learn to hear it well, and get to know it's accent. Seriously, even though you aren't really cheating per-se but you are recognizing the chant in your head. It will come in handy to understand this voice when it starts to rationalize foods you should not be eating, most specifically foods that will trigger a downfall.
