Products for a cold

I usually used airborne or alka seltzer products, which are forbidden. What else can I use to relieve sore throat & coughing ??

    I use over the counter cold meds that contain guaifenesin (mucinex) or the generic. I also take a daily dose of zinc to help build the immune system.
