  • Popular Post

Good morning from Santa Barbara beautiful sleevers! I am leaving in an hour for my surgery.

Feeling good, albeit a bit dehydrated! A major first step in the long journey ahead. I am accepting

prayers and good thoughts :D

My stay in the hospital is only for 1 night so I will post as soon as I can.

Here we go!!

Hi sleeve buddies!! I'm back at home and it's been 3 full days since surgery. First night was pretty miserable - still at hospital and was throwing up and just felt overall not good. Slowly it's getting better. Trying to stay hydrated, take meds., Protein, Vitamins. That's a lot to get down!!!

My beautiful friends have surrounded me with 24/7 care so I'm feeling supported. Was running a low grade fever yesterday - below what doctor said to call in for (but just)

It's 3:30 in the morning here and I'm feeling ok ( just thirsty) - I wake up every couple hours and drink Water. That's all for now. Thanks for the prayers and good wishes.

Keep up the great work..we all need to egg each other on

How many nights did u end up staying in hospital?

Thanks everyone!! @@Amy373 I ended up staying only one night (as planned). Wasn't until the evening that I felt okay enough to go home. I was still feeling "iffy" but my boyfriend and best friend felt comfortable taking care of me so decided to head home. I've not had trouble swallowing but I take very small sips (okay except once, I took a big swig - but didn't swallow!!)

It's possible that I will never poop again... And 3 days ago I got nauseous and it hasn't totally gone away. I am taking something for it. Overall I am doing great. There's definitely little set backs here and there but I am very determined to make this work and make it stick. Unfortunately I am already having serious food cravings. Their not an issue tight now as I am on liquids and there is NO WAY I am going to mess this up. As soon as I am a little further along I am going to explore getting a therapist and dealing with food addiction. Hang in there everyone. We are awesome!!! :)

You have come so far to jeopardize it now. Try meditation when you get thinking if food. Grab a Protein shake if you are able. I heard most people say they don't even think to eat. How much protein are you drinking? Maybe you need more...I'm not here yet but just trying to help from what I have learned.
