Newbie-- post op

Hello, I am three days post op. The day of surgery I had such anxiety and was in so much pain I wondered what I was thinking. I puked some blood. Surgeon said procedure was perfect. Today I'm feeling better, still in pain and extremely tired. I cannot get in all the protein. I spent $60 on unflavored unjury powder and it makes me nearly vomit, which really hurts! Any suggestions for a protein supplement that isn't chalky? Or doesn't smell putrid?

Hi,

I do not like the unjury either. I really like the ready made premier Protein and up until today I had to mix it 1/2 and 1/2 with 2% milk. It's just like a good choc. shake. It gave me plenty of protein. Everyday I would try just one sip to see if I could handle the "heaviness' of it and I finally can!! No more mixing. Good luck - it does get better. I am 10 days post-op and doing well. :)

I'm also trying to remember to sip slow. I'm so thirsty that I want to gulp from my sports bottle. I have a feeling I will learn the hard way.
