7 weeks post OP, feel great!

I had lap band with plication almost 7 weeks ago. So far I have lost 42 pounds and feel great. More energy then I ever remember and nice to be able to run around with kids a bit more. I have a long way to go but feeling very good.

Wish I would have been aware of placation when I was banded. Keep us posted and congrats.

my surgeon did not offer plication to me. sounds like a good addition to the band. I have done well with just the band but from what I can read the plication seems to keep patients from needing fills as often and seems that they lose faster.

Congrats...Its-time...best wishes to you on your new journey as a bander!!! You are doing great "30 lbs" so far...YEAH
