Yes, I've tried them. My NUT didn't have a problem with them except she said that you can only absorb about 30 grams of protein at a time. So I started drinking only half of it as a boost to my normal protein after surgery and would save the other half until later. I didn't like the way they tasted too much either. Not as horrible as some things, but definately not what I would call good.

I used the Protein shots initially for a few weeks, but I wish I had purchased less of them. I probably wouldn't consider them if I was to do it all over again. They are EXTREMELY sweet (think double-strength Jell-O), and they don't help you with your Fluid intake, which is really important.

I just discovered them, and even though they taste horrible I'm doing them, taking a few drinks several times a day. My surgeon said liquid consumed for protein (shakes, etc.) doesn't count against my water requirement anyway.
