First fill today

So had my first fill today under fluoro and found out i already had 2 cc's in my band. The doctor put in 2 more and i am at 4 cc now. I had to do barium swallow and wondering if this is why i am so bloated and gassy now. Has anyone had this experience? I am on clear liquids today followed by full liquids for a day or two.

I've had a physical reaction to barium in the past, much like what you are experiencing now.

Hope you feel better soon!

I have only had a barium swallow once, the morning after surgery. I kind of wish we had a more sophisticated practice here but we live in a rural area. Take it easy over the next week and listen in to your body -- let your doctor know if you still feel bloated and gassy. They may want you on a Prilosec kind of medication if it continues. Congratulations on your surgery and first fill! Do you go back in a couple of weeks?
