Its starting to get real!

My appt. for 4/15 to get my surgery date has been moved up to 4/9, I can't believe that after waiting so many months and having major delays I will finally get a surgery date in 2 days. YIPPY!!!!! I'm so excited and nervous and ready to start my pre- op 2 week liquid diet, I look forward to knowing that I will never be this size again. I will be truly committed to my sleeve.

Wow that's right around the corner, don't be freaked out just look back at any moments that you felt held back because of your weight and know that it will be all worth it to get fair chances in life.

Thank you cushy. I will try!

God bless!!!

Wow! April 4th how are you feeling!? Would love to hear your story!!

To be honest the first 2 days after surgery was tough I wanted to sleep all the time the nurses were forcing me to drink a lot of water (which hurt) I was not in to much pain thankfully but yesterday was a breakthrough I felt so much better I came home from hospital and had a very small amount of puréed food today is the same :) lots of people on here have told me to walk as much as I can to get rid of the extra gas build up you get after surgery so I will do that also I find warm liquid like teas or soup go down much easier than cold drinks I am not hungry at all which is good also rest as much as you can after surgery even in 4 days I have learnt this . Good luck :)

Wow! Thanks so much for sharing! Crazy to think it's my turn tomorrow!! I'm a bit nervous with recovery time and going back to work in exactly 2-weeks after. Hopefully the recovery time is nice n easy.... HAPPY RECOVERY TO YOU!!!

I heard that about the gas so I'm smuggling in gas x strips and plan on a lot of walking.....did I take anything for the gas?
