Chores?!

I am two weeks post op, and my house is a mess. My husband has been trying his best. But his version of clean and my version are two totally different things. I am able to do some basics like the dishes and dusting. However I can't vacuum, therefore can't mop. And forget about the laundry. We have two dogs and this is driving me nuts. I should clarify that I feel fine and I feel like I could do all of this, but I worry about overdoing it. Is anyone else having this problem? Am I being paranoid?

I was up cooking and cleaning after a few days. Then, my body told me to sit down. So, I did. I really took advantage of the 2 weeks that I had off work to just relax. I am glad that I did. I am back to work now and still get a little tired after 3 -1/2 weeks post op.

It is important to get yourself strong and healthy again and not to worry about all the house stuff for a while.

Good Luck to you!!

Hopefully you can still find the sofa so that you can sit down and get some rest. You need to take the time to get well. Tere is a lot of healing that needs to happen, and you can't let a good day distract you from your doctor's orders. So what if the hose isn't perfect. You don't want to bust a gussett trying to catch up now. If anyone complains, they can just pitch in a help!

Thank you. I guess I'm not being so paranoid after all. It's just crazy to me cause I almost feel fine.

Per my previous post - don't know what is going on with either my brain, my fingers, or my keyboard - a lot of typos there. Oops!
