April 7th

April 7th is my big day! I'm so excited and nervous! I know I'm going to cry like a baby as I'm getting prepped. I've always been emotional and a big crier. I'm actually more worried about my 67 year old mother who is in kidney failure and on dialysis. If something happens to me she'll be devastated and all stressed out. I'm trying to stay positive. I don't believe anything will happen but there is always that voice in the back of your head.

I felt the same way leading up to surgery. But, then I went back and reviewed all the successful posts and words of encouragement from all the Sleevers in the Post Op, that it was better for me.

i actually thought of writing letters to all my family members in case something happened. But, I was like... I got this, I am going into surgery with Optimism and excitement. And I did, I am 3-1/2 weeks post op and never felt better in my life.

The surgery was quick.. and after a couple days of some rough recovery, it only gets better.. Believe Me!!
