Just returned from my 6 week check up and the doctor informed me that I am eating way to much protein per day. The suggested proteins per day for maximum weight loss is between 60 to 80 grams a day. With a caloric intake of between 400 to 600 per day.. My calorie intake is ok but I have been eating a over 100grams of protein daily..I am coming up with a sample menu in which I will be eating 74 grams of proteins and about 550 calories. My concerns with this new menu is that the intake of carbs will now be about 57 grams daily. Does anyone know if this amount of carbs will hurt my weight loss? I asked the doctor what a good balance between carbs and protein would be and she said if you are eating healthy not to worry about the carbs.. Which threw me for a loop.. Can anyone help
