Anyone else deal with this!

Got my surgery done in April of 2009 and haven't really had any problems, that is until about a month and a half ago when I started coughing really bad in the middle of the night. It gets so bad that I usually always throw up, iron occasion will even come out of my nose. Has anyone experienced this before?

Why are you taking Iron? If you are not anemic you don't need iron. You need to call your surgeon you are probably be too tight.

Call your surgeon. This symptom ... Coughing at night ... Is on my clinic's "watch list." Could be nothing, could be something, don't let it go ... Call your doc and get an appt.

This has happened to me a couple of times and I asked my dr and and he said it was acid reflux. I have stopped eating close to bed time and that helps.

I just went through this too, and my band was too tight. You are at risk for aspiration when you wake up coughing and throwing up. Call your doctor.
