Lactose intolerance and Anemia

Good Morning all!

Went to my initial class yesterday, and I had a couple of questions for those who have already had their surgery:

1.)Did you develop a problem with becoming Lactose intolerance after your surgery?

2.)I have a slight Anemia problem now, did you develop Anemia problems after surgery?

Thanks to all who are open and honest on this site, your insight and experiences have answered a lot of my questions.

Yes I am lactose intolerant. My lactose intolerance symptoms actually improvred after losing over 40 pounds to date. I do drink lactose free milk ..however I est regular regular Greek yogurt. Since my bloatness has improved losing this much weight has decreased my gaseous stomach. I used to pass gas all the time. Now I rarely do.. :)

I have not developed any lactose intolerance since surgery. My bloodwork is occasionally low iron, but it was before surgery as well.
