Insurance!

So I'm 99% sure my insurance WILL cover to get the sleeve, (i meet every standard) but as most other insurance companies i feel like they will give me the run around. Is there anything i can do to speed up the process?

Have all your ducks in a row. Find out what the insurance requirements are and get them all done prior to the surgeon's office submitting anything. Don't give them a reason for denial.

Yes most insurances have guidelines I would call them asap for no suprises I had to complete 6 mo of nutritional classes and Dr visits

Call your insurance and ask! Some Dr. offices are experts at what you need also, because they deal with insurance companies everyday, good luck!

Thank you ladies. I got kind of down today when my boss told me our insurance chooses not to cover any weight loss surgeries..i called my family doctor and she told me not to worry and let the insurance ladies work their magic.

Praying for a miracle!!(:

And i hope i hear good news soon. The wait is killing me.

Hmmm, if it is a true "exclusion" then there is nothing their insurance gal can do, if it is a "well they haven't approved anybody yet", then a talented insurance coordinator can work miracles. ..
