New Journey, New Beginning!

Well its official, I have a surgery date of May 19th! Im so excited but am also nervous/anxious. My doctor said it shouldn't be an issue to remove my band and do the sleeve at the same time, which is a huge relief. Anyone else having surgery in May in or around Dallas?

Are you a self pay or is that what insurance wont cover? My insurance isn't covering anything. Being a self pay I'm paying $16,000. That includes everything from my EGD to my post-op appointments, overnight stays in the hospital, nutritionist, anesthesiologist, and everything else in between

I'm in Houston with a goal of the end of May. The surgeon thinks its doable, as long as I continue to meet all of my insurance requirements. I am also extremely excited and scared.
